In World War II, the Royal Australian Navy partnered with the United States Pacific Fleet in fighting Japan. Their collaborative effort continued throughout the war, and, according to many historians, it was critical to the allied victory. At the time, Australia was still an English territory. Following the country’s independence from the UK, the Perth Mint continued to convert Australian-mined gold into top quality bullion products. One of their flagship items is the 1-ounce, .9999 fine gold bar. Beautifully crafted to the highest standard, these bars are sealed in protective tamper-proof assay cards. As sovereign-minted bars, they enjoy universal acceptance and liquidity in the global bullion market.
